All knit blogs have a cat. Right?

I can't believe I got so many comments the other day. Thanks everybody!! I've been trying to spin, but I haven't gotten it yet. I'm going to keep trying, but I might have to meet Susie for a lesson. I think it'd be great to meet her in person anyway.

On Whimsical's blog , the other day, she showed her kitty pi beginnings. After your done here, go take a look. Here is my finished product. Introducing Billie Holiday and her kitty pi bed. She never stayed out of my felted knitting bag, so I knitted this for her last year. She doesn't sleep in it any more. She plays in it, and we keep her toy mice and My Little Pony toys in it. She used to steal LD's My Little Ponies all of the time, so we had to get her her own. She really plays with them. It's wierd!!

We had another power problem the day before yesterday. I heard it was a tree falling from the storms before. I heard it was a car crashing into a telephone pole. I heard...I heard... That's the way it is around here sometimes. Small town, ya know. My poor hubby, both times the power went out it was finally his turn for the computer, and he can never do his thing. I admit it, I am a computer hog. I did do a little knitting in the dark, and now I have to fix my mess ups.

Looks like it's going to rain. I never pay attention to the weather report. Everyone around me says what they saw on tv, and all of the channels are different anyway. I hope it's nice tomorrow, since we have to go to a family reunion. I am taking my knitting. I'll knit on the drive there and on the way home, but during is always a big question mark.

Have a great weekend. See ya back here on Monday. Probably!!

I used to have a cat too! But we had to give him up when we moved back to Delaware. Never got the chance to make him a cat bed. Yours looks so satisfied!!

I think I must be the only knitter without a cat, LOL. Yours seems to really love the bed!

The colours are lovely on your Kitty Pi, and your kitty. One of our 2 lil monsters is tortoiseshell too.

so on Wednesday, just after my son (who's in Traverse City) finished telling me about the storm, my Dad, who's in Pentwater emailed me about same. Destroyed boats on Pentwater Lake, and they were without power for a few days....anyway, then we got a storm here Wed night that made national news. And power won't be restored to many in my area for days.
I'm trying to figure out which cold lake you're on. Clues: small or big? Are they saling the Mac race on it this weekend? Can you waterski on it? fish? Do you get to TC for a weekly/monthly Meijers grocery trip? I'm guessing you're somewhere between my kid and my dad.
