Last post of 2006?

Happy New Year!
I just wanted to get that out in case this will be my last post of 2006. I'm not making resolutions, or talking about any great world shaking ideas. I just had to share the cute little rug I knitted for LD's Littlest Pet Shop animals. She has so many of these lil' bobble heads, you wouldn't believe it!
I just had to use my new Mason Dixon Knitting book for some kind of idea, so I made a little log cabin-ish blankie, which was perfect for these guys. I love that book. I want to knit everything in it! LOL!
This is going to be quick, cuz my mom and I are going to go on a little yarn run. I need some needles, and she wants to look at yarn, since she's a knit-addict again. I wanted to start my Fiber Trend Clogs last night. I wound the wool, and got all ready, and found out I don't have size 13 circ.s! I have every other size (almost!), so now I need to go find some to do magic loop! Shheeezeee!
And I also had to say : Some wonderful person bought some yarn from my shop! I am a seller! Yay! I have more stuff to list, too. Bracelets, and st. markers, and soaps in socks. Probably right after the new year.
So, Happy 2007 to everyone!! I hope the coming times are super for all. I hope they are filled with great knitting and good times!! Knit on!!

Woo for Fiber Trends Felted Clogs!! Just something that I ran into, most of the pattern is worked back and forth short row style, so you don't need to worry about knitting 'round for most of it. I used one 29" Boye circ, and the only time I really had any issues was the last couple rounds, when the rounds were just a little short for the length of the needle and I switched to two circs.

Congratulations on your first sale! I've been considering starting up an etsy shop; my daughter likes to do bead work - she's made several stitch markers for me (most have been gifted). I told her to make more and we'd sell them.

Your log cabin blanket is so cute. I love that book too.

I've been wanting to make a Log Cabin...but, ya know, holiday knitting took over and i'm still working on it...some people got gifts with needles in them. Oops! LOL!!

I'm itching to cast on something lacey...

Cute little rug. My sister gave me the Mason Dixon book for Christmas. Now I can join the log cabin craze too.
